Coronavirus update: List of closures, cancellations in Kitsap County for precautions
Organizations around Kitsap County are closing their doors or changing their hours as a precaution against the spread of coronavirus. Events are being canceled and postponed.
Here are some of the places that have closed or changed their hours, and events that are posted or canceled. This list will be updated often. Do you have something to add? Email sunnews@kitsapsun.com with "cancellation" in the subject line.
Places
Bremerton and Haselwood (Silverdale) YMCA: The Y remains open, but all classes and programs will be suspended from March 14 through March 31. This cancelation includes Child Watch, all youth programs, group exercise classes, fitness orientations, and all other regularly scheduled programs. The Y is open for individual exercisers while using social distancing practices.
Kitsap Regional Library: Limited service through March 17. Beginning March 18, all locations and book drops will be closed with plans to reopen on April 20.
