Two more Kitsap County residents test positive for COVID-19

Two more positive cases for COVID-19 were reported in Kitsap County on Sunday, according to the Kitsap Public Health District.

One person who tested positive for COVID-19 is a Central Kitsap resident in their 40s. The other is a Bremerton area resident in their 50s.

Both individuals are in isolation, the health district reports, adding that it is working "as quickly as possible to notify people identified as having been in close contact with the cases."

That makes fives cases that have so far been identified through positive tests in Kitsap County. The first two cases were on Bainbridge Island — a person in their 60s and a person in their 70s. On Friday, the health district identified the third case as a South Kitsap person in their 40s.
