Russell Wilson, Ciara pledge to donate 1 million meals to Seattle during COVID-19 outbreak

SEATTLE — Seattle Seahawks star quarterback Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara teamed up with a local food bank Tuesday in order to help struggling families during the coronavirus outbreak.

Wilson and Ciara partnered with Feeding America to donate one million meals to needy Seattle families as the COVID-19 virus spreads across the country.

"This coronavirus is changing the world minute by minute, second by second," Wilson said. "People are losing loved ones -- the elderly and the young and people in between. People are losing jobs. What we've decided to do is partner up with our local food bank in Seattle."

They have an earnings window of less than 15 years. These sports teams are worth billions, owned by billionaires, and have publicly financed stadiums.

2. Looks like the Seattle Mariners are helping out those employed in their stadium.
