Everett Trader Joe's closed due to workers ill with COVID-19
EVERETT Trader Joes in Everett is closed until Thursday for cleaning after more than one worker tested positive for COVID-19.
This comes a day after a Trader Joes employee at a Scarsdale, N.Y., store died due to COVID-19. Nationwide, several workers at Walmart and other grocery stores have also died after contracting the virus.
Six Trader Joes stores nationwide temporarily closed this week due to coronavirus concerns. Five of them were on the East Coast.
The store at 811 SE Everett Mall Way is set to reopen April 9.
The latest date an infected Everett worker was in the store was April 4, the Trader Joes website said. It did not specify how many workers were infected.
