Return of mail in ballot to drop box

What is the opinion of others receiving mail in ballots in WA state. Is it safer to take the filled in ballot to a drop box than to send it back by USPS?

2. Yes but drop box seemed COVID safer

I admit I wonder about the security of the drop boxes but my husband and I are old with multiple risk factors for COVID. I would go in person if there were no other way but want to avoid risk if I can.

3. I live in Eastern Washington, and the drop box is between my house and my office

I usually take my ballot to the drop box because it is extremely convenient. Also, a few years ago when I forgot to sign the external envelope, they got it back to me the next day with the request that I sign it.

I can't speak to the safety or security or speed in other districts or counties, but where I live, it's completely without any problems.

4. Personally, mail is more convenient, but I'll probably take it to a box...

I figure that is more secure. Not one I know of within walking distance, but closest drop box is a short drive. It's by the County Courthouse. That should be secure.

7. I've always used the drop box

I'm more inclined to now since Dejoy is in charge of the USPS.
