What is the opinion of others receiving mail in ballots in WA state. Is it safer to take the filled in ballot to a drop box than to send it back by USPS?

(1,035 posts)I admit I wonder about the security of the drop boxes but my husband and I are old with multiple risk factors for COVID. I would go in person if there were no other way but want to avoid risk if I can.

(1,474 posts)I usually take my ballot to the drop box because it is extremely convenient. Also, a few years ago when I forgot to sign the external envelope, they got it back to me the next day with the request that I sign it.
I can't speak to the safety or security or speed in other districts or counties, but where I live, it's completely without any problems.
