The Seattle Tacoma International Airport is preparing for what it is projecting to be the most traffic the airport has seen since before the pandemic. Airport officials are expecting to see more than 25,000 departing passengers going through security checkpoints at the airport on several days over the holidays. The airport is expecting its busiest days will be Nov. 29, with about 29,500 passengers, followed by Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving, with a projection of about 29,000 passengers.
Since the start of the pandemic, Labor Day weekend brought the most traffic the airport had seen since before the pandemic, with more than 23,000 passengers.
