Kirkland's Weekly Markets Return For 2021 Season This Week
KIRKLAND, WA Two of Kirkland's weekly markets are returning this week, offering a bounty of fresh goods for shoppers every Wednesday and Friday through September.
First up, the Wednesday Market returns to Marina Park, with nearly three dozen vendors signed up to bring their local goods between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on June 2 and continuing through September. Then, on June 4, the Juanita Friday Market returns to Juanita Beach Park, with vendors bringing their stockpiles of locally grown fruits and vegetables, freshly baked goods, flowers and handcrafted creations.
"We are thrilled to start the 2021 season at the Juanita Friday Market and have an amazing lineup of vendors," said Robert Hezlep, the market's manager. "The market is more than a shopping experience, it's a celebration of incredible produce, delicious food, fresh flowers and handcrafts all from local farmers and artisans."
After a pause last year, the Friday market will again offer hot food, as it returns to its original location in the recently renovated west parking lot. Visitors planning a trip this week or throughout the summer can learn more about the Kirkland Wednesday Market and the Juanita Friday Market online.
