Washington State Fair fans can 'do the Puyallup' again this fall
There is good news for the lovers of roller coasters, barn animals and scones. The Washington State Fair announced it will operating at full tilt this fall after Gov. Jay Inslee announced the state would fully reopen on June 30.
The event was canceled in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As per the governors full reopen of the state, we will be operating fully as well, said Stacy Vane Horne, public relations manager for the Washington State Fair Events Center. We will continue to ensure extra cleaning and sanitization is done of high-touch areas and throughout the grounds. And we will follow (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) recommendations regarding masks.
The 20-day fair, which is held in Puyallup at the Washington State Fair and Events Center, will run Sept. 3-26, and be closed on Tuesdays and Sept. 8.
