SEATTLE - On Monday, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee is holding a press conference where he is expected to announce a vaccine mandate for state employees and other efforts to increase vaccinations.
While in Bremerton on Friday, Inslee said hes considering a number of options to increase our states vaccination rates as the highly-contagious delta variant drives up cases and hospitalizations.
"We are focusing our efforts right now on what we know ultimately is necessary, which is to increase vaccinations," Gov. Inslee said while visiting Bremerton Friday.
The governor says thats the best way out of what he believes is an emerging crisis, as he considers new measures to get the COVID-19 vaccines into more peoples arms statewide.

Really glad to hear this. It needs to happen in every state. Of course, the ones with insane governors aren't going to even consider it, but the more other states that do, the better!
