https://www.kuow.org/stories/at-wa-ferries-vaccine-mandate-looms-amidst-unprecedented-worker-shortages"Governor Jay Inslees announcement of mandatory Covid vaccinations for state workers on Aug. 9 kicked off a turbulent week at Washington State Ferries.
"By the end of last week, the agency experienced a severe staffing shortage, and the state transportation secretary issued a reminder for employees to remain civil with one another."
It's rough out there, folks, and it's going to get rougher.

Alot of the engineers and a few deckhands with a handful of officers are talking about quitting over this.
Despite pointing out that major employers are moving towards mandatory vaccination policies, they seem to think no problem. No unemployment benefits either.
Nice to stand on principle, push comes to shove how many are going to walk away from a six figure income?

Enjoy going crabbing.
What really gets under my skin is the argument that it shouldn't be mandatory. Well, why did it become mandatory? Because you wouldn't get vaccinated when it was optional, dumbass!
Did you see that bit about Ricky saying he would work until his October retirement? Yeah, he's not.
