'Significant' amount of wire theft shuts down I-5 express lane ramps
SEATTLE – You will need to find a new way to get on the I-5 express lanes if you usually take the one at 9th and Pike.
The Washington DOT said this specific entrance and exit ramp has been shut down due to theft. Someone stole a ‘significant’ amount of wire from the ramp.
The ramps will be shut down until further notice but other express lanes will stay open.
