Pig out! 500 piggy banks stuffed with $20 are on the loose

EVERETT — Be on the lookout for 500 little green pigs.

The piggy banks with a bellyful of $20 in cash are finders keepers.

The plastic piggies are an annual treasure hunt promotion from Peoples Bank. The first batch was released Monday and will continue sowing through Aug. 1.

Most pigs will be hidden within a mile of Peoples Bank’s 23 branch locations in six counties. In Snohomish County, branches are in Everett, Edmonds, Mill Creek and Snohomish. Island County banks are in Freeland, Coupeville and Oak Harbor.
