West Seattle brewers create 'Reunite IPA' to celebrate bridge reopening

Five local brew houses created a new IPA to celebrate the reopening of the West Seattle Bridge. The craft beer, called Reunited IPA will be released Saturday at Ounces Taproom and Beer Garden near the bridge’s Delridge Way SW exit as part of a two-day long party.

Beyond Ounces, the other West Seattle businesses collaborating on the new brew are Good Society Brewing, Best of Hands Barrelhouse, The Beer Junction and Beveridge Place Pub.

These business owners aren’t just looking for a buzz. Beveridge Place Pub owner Gary Sink says this citra-hopped concoction has come to symbolize community.

“Shows that even though all of us are trying to make our way and make a living running our businesses, we’re not competitors,” said Sink.
