Seahawks, QB Geno Smith finalizing multi-year deal, per reports

The big question of the Seahawks offseason has an answer. According to multiple reports, quarterback Geno Smith is returning to Seattle on a three-year deal.

Jordan Schultz, NFL insider for The Score, tweeted Monday afternoon that the Seahawks and Smith are finalizing a three-year contract worth $105 million, with Smith having the ability to make as much as $52 million in the first calendar year of the deal.

Fellow NFL reporters Tom Pelissero and Dov Kleiman also reported the agreement Monday afternoon between Smith and Seattle.

This is the second big domino to fall this week in the offseason quarterback market, with former Raiders QB Derek Carr agreeing to a multi-year deal with the Saints Monday worth up to a reported $150 million, with $100 million guaranteed.
