(47,953 posts)You will be in cold, open New Jersey. Better hope the refs are kinder to you this time!
Still be a hella par-tay here!
Love me some Russell Wilson. He's making "only" $660K this year!
Hope we can still afford them all, next season!!

(47,953 posts)Amazing QB, the best one out of that year, and maybe of the decade. The number of GM's who are kicking themselves for passing him over must be high.
Next year will be ok. The year after that, the bills come due. Sheridan ain't gonna be cheap. Wilson will be a 20 mi/year man. The rest of that secondary is gonna get pricy, too. But you have at least this year and next to win it all. After that, it becomes a matter of what decisions work out.

(58,645 posts)One saving grace is our depth and youth. Looking at the MNF beatdown of the Saints, it's hard to believe but we were short two top-tier CBs that game and still shut down Brees and that high octane offense.
We've got some young guys coming up that just might be able to step up if we lose some guys to FA. Our front office is very much a 'next guy up' organization.
They don't play as well on the road as they do at home (who does?) but they've won a couple of road games in that 11-1 streak.

(47,953 posts)That stadium is lethally loud, too. And they can close the lid when needed. They aren't playing in any snowstorms or rainstorms.

(58,645 posts)You're thinking of SafeCo field, the baseball stadium across the street.
The Seahawks play outdoors at home. Trust me, I had season tickets from 2005-09.

BTW, who is Sheridan? I'm wondering how much Marshawn makes? Also Percy Harvin. He's a letdown, I'm afraid (not his fault - injury). I'm thinking he's done-for in the NFL!

(58,645 posts)Thinking of Richard Sherman? He's the CB who had the Twitter bout with Revis last year. He also punked some 'sports writer' a time or two. He was snubbed for the Pro-bowl last year, probably because of the PED suspension.
He's a bit of a trash talker ala Gary Payton in basketball. But he's a definite top tier corner.
I don't think Marshawn makes all that much. Harvin is a bit of a disappointment, but obviously, we've been winning games without him. Percy is still young and may yet bounce back.

(24,726 posts)but I think you are right..s/he meant Sherman.
Sherman is a badass Kenny Easley-type. Wicked smart Stanford grad. Good thing all that energy is channeled, is all I'm sayin'!
