Stop Workplace Bullying - Call To Action!

Hello all -

Today we march to Westlake Park in hopes of changing the world for the better, not only for women but for all.
I will be there with a group of co-workers, asking for help in stopping workplace bullying!

What is workplace bullying?

We currently have a Senate Bill 5423 that will be reviewed by the Labor and Commerce Committee next week. In order to make a bill into law it has to first pass out of committee with a recommendation to pass. If it does not pass out of committee it dies and we will have to reintroduce the bill again next year.

Here is the actual bill SB 5423

We also have a House Bill 2888 that will be reviewed very soon!

Here is the actual bill HB 2888

Help us ensure that this important legislation gets passed out of their respective committees by letting the members of each committee know that this issue is important to you and you want them to pass it out of committee with a YES VOTE!

NOW is the time to get involved!

Here’s how you can help with the Senate Bill 5423:

Call each of the Labor & Commerce Committee Members in this link and voice your support for SB 5423 asking them to pass the bill out of committee with the amendments suggested,
Send an email to each of the committee members asking them to pass the bill out of committee with the amendments suggested. Here it is drafted for you.
Forward the attached email to all your friends and colleagues asking them to do the same.
