The Inslee 'Leap Forward' -- Clean power, no coal, electric cars and ferries

Undaunted that voters rejected I-1631 to implement a carbon fee last month, Gov. Jay Inslee has unveiled a sweeping "Leap Forward" program, saying "Washington can lead the world in clean energy development."

"We know there is a mighty chorus demanding climate action," said Inslee, who could be looking at a 2020 presidential run keyed to the "green" agenda. It is, he said, "the greatest endeavor of our time."

What an agenda it is!

The state's electrical utilities would be required to transition to clean energy completely eliminate use of fossil fuels by 2045, and stop using coal by 2025.
