FBI and Snohomish County in Washington state open hate crime investigation into neo-Nazi beating of black DJ
Bail was set on Tuesday for five of the eight self-professed neo-Nazis being investigated for hate crimes after they allegedly beat two African-American men at a bar in Washington State over the weekend.
The Snohomish County Sheriffs office announced bail ranging from $25,000 to $150,000 for five of eight people arrested just after midnight on Dec. 8 at the Rec Room Tavern in Lynnwood, Washington.
According to witnesses, the suspects came into the bar and began harassing the disc jockey, who was an adult black male, the sheriffs office said in a statement. The suspects were white and using racial slurs during the incident. Reportedly the disc jockey was assaulted and some of his equipment was damaged during the fight. They were charged with malicious harassment, assault, malicious mischief and driving under the influence of intoxicants, the sheriffs office said. Bail for Travis Condor, 34, from Pittsburg, and Nathaniel Woodell, 32, from Woodstock, Ill., was set at $25,000; bail for 28-year-old Vincent Nutter of Bothell, Washington and Daniel Dorson, 23, of Corvallis, Oregon, was $100,000, and Guy Miller, 37, of Tacoma, was set at $150,000.
