I see a lot of states

Getting rid of their caucus and going to primaries. I also read something about Washington state possibly doing the same by the 2020 election. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I am all for having a primary "only".

When it was first instituted, there was some sort of major disagreement with the state Democratic Party over how it was conducted, with the result that state Democrats opted to continue to use the caucus system, as is their right. Hadn't heard anything about that changing.

I live here and I hated the way it worked. I found this:

https://www.heraldnet.com/news/state-dems-may-abandon-caucus-chaos-in-time-for-2020/

I couldn't get anything but the headlines. State Dems may abandon caucus chaos in time for 2020

Washington also is considering becoming more significant by moving its primary to early March.

Could read more because of pay wall I guess.

In the last primary Bernie Won the Caucus, but Hillary won by a huge number during the primary vote. He wan't really the anointed one, but most people don't bother with going to the caucus, but Bernie's crowd did, and they won it.
