1 arrested after Bellevue College evacuated due to threat
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Bellevue College ordered the immediate evacuation of its Main and North campuses Thursday afternoon due to a threat against a student and the school, officials said.
An emergency alert issued by the college urged students and faculty to "depart the campus in a safe and orderly manner, but remain alert and cautious."
Bellevue Police spokesperson Meegan Black said there was an altercation between two students Wednesday in one of their classes.
One of the students then sent an email threatening the other student and the school.
That student has since been located and arrested without incident, according to police.
