Fairmont woman accused of stealing $150K from Rider Pharmacy
FAIRMONT — A Fairmont woman was arrested by the Fairmont Police Department Tuesday after allegedly embezzling thousands of dollars from a Fairmont pharmacy.
Courtney Lynn Painter, 34, between the time period of 2006 and 2017, took in excess of $150,000 from Rider Pharmacy, according to a criminal complaint by Detective Sergeant Brian Stewart of the Fairmont Police Department.
The complaint states that Painter was employed at Rider Pharmacy, 303 Merchant St. in Fairmont.
This occurred without the knowledge or permission of the owner of the pharmacy, according to the complaint.
