Cheese producer Saputo to close Wisconsin plant

NEW LONDON, Wis. (AP) -- A major employer in New London says it will be shutting its doors.

Saputo Cheese says its New London plant will close by Aug. 23. Sixty-seven people will lose their jobs.

The plant has been in operation in New London for more than 60 years.
