It just feels like we lost something... maybe because we lost CD8 CD7 and Feingold in one election.

Wisconsin was a razor thin state in the Bush vs. Gore Presidential election in the year 2000. Wisconsin had 11 electoral votes that year. Then Tom Barrett ran for Governor in 2002 when his Milwaukee Congressional Seat was the one that was eliminated during redistricting. The Milwaukee area had 2 Congressional districts during that time.

We had 10 electoral votes during the 2004, 2008 elections, we will have 10 electoral votes for the next decade as well.

Each state gets an electoral vote for each member for congress weather they are in the House or the Senate.

Washington D.C. is the lone exception to the rule as they get 3 electoral votes for president, but do not get voting members of the House or Senate.
