Local politician taking on Grothman for GOP seat...

Glenn Grothman has said he's going to run for Tom Petri's congressional seat, since Petri is retiring.

Grothman has one challenger, Joe Leibham, who has an advantage over Grothman, he's actually from the area Grothman is running for.
Grothman is a carpetbagger.

Joe Leibham has been state congressman from this area for years.

is a smarmy schmoozer. He looks pretty damned polished next to Grothman. But it could be entertaining seeing them take each other on.

when his bill was shortening the time allowed for absentee ballots. My son was in Saudi Arabia at the time, and I wanted to know how my son, a diplomat serving our country, would be able to exercise his right to vote. Leibham didn't really give a crap.

but then again, it's in the House of Representatives....

what's one more nutcase in a house full of nutcases?

maybe it would be better if Grothman won....he's the worst of the nuts and we'd at least be rid on one of the worst?
