http://www.startribune.com/politics/national/257204711.htmlMADISON, Wis. Republican Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says he will appeal the federal court ruling striking down Wisconsin's voter identification law.
U.S. District Judge Lynn Adelman ruled Tuesday that the law passed in 2011 is unconstitutional.
Van Hollen says, "I am disappointed with the order and continue to believe Wisconsin's law is constitutional. We will appeal."
Van Hollen is at the end of his second term in office and is not running for a third.

Posner has some to the conclusion that his opinion on the Indiana voter suppression law was wrong and that the only purpose of these laws is to suppress the vote

What's wrong, J.B.? Tired of doing the repuke's dirty work? Tired of supporting laws that harm the average Wisconsin citizen?

(9,740 posts)8. Rumors are to run for Governor if Walker runs for President
(and gets it). From what I see, Walker will make a run in the GOP Presidential Primary.

(4,438 posts)9. That is just too ugly to contemplate
Walker as Pres. and Van Hollen as WI governor? What a nightmare scenario that would be! Let's hope neither of them fulfills their ambitions.

(21,946 posts)6. And how much is that going to cost the taxpayers?
Seems that when repubs what something, money is no object..spend at will. When Democrats want something, the cost has to be offset with cuts.
