Waukesha County Clerk Nickolaus: Another GOP officeholder packing concealed heat


Count Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus among Wisconsin Republican officeholders who are packing concealed heat. In a feature story last night on WDJT-TV 58 News in Milwaukee, Nicholaus was interviewed as one of 70 members of Girls with Guns, armed women who meet once a month at a gun dealer shooting range in Waukesha to blow off a few rounds. It's the "new ladies night out," dontcha know. Quoteth the newscast: "It's a social ladies club, except we shoot," said Barb, founder of Girls with Guns. “I went to a restaurant that my friend owns and I told her that I had just bought my first gun. I was so excited. And she said … you did? I wanna learn to shoot, and then it multiplied,” said Barb. ... It multiplied so much that Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus heard about it and joined in on the fun. “I’m able to meet other women that are also going to go through that class on concealed carry and understand how to use a gun properly, I think that’s important," said Nickolaus. Nothing wrong or evil about concealed carry. That women are doing more of it is also a good thing. Women meeting and networking is also a plus.

Lots of Democratic party members and office holders have CCW permits. Its not restricted to repukes.
