Wisconsin: Van Hollen will still fight for voter ID before election

These assholes must be worried they're going to lose. If nothing else, he's sowing more confusion into the already muddy waters.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says he will explore alternatives to make sure the state's voter ID law is in place for the November election.

Van Hollen is responding to Thursday's ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court, which blocked the law that requires voters to show a photo ID at the polls.

The A.G. released this statement Thursday night: "I believe the voter ID law is constitutional, and nothing in the Court's order suggests otherwise. Instead, the Court may have been concerned that even with the extraordinary efforts of the clerks, absentee ballots that were distributed before the 7th Circuit declared the law valid might not be counted.

We will be exploring alternatives to address the Court's concern and have voter ID on election day."
