http://bloggingblue.com/2014/10/ron-johnson-holds-event-only-ten-people-show-up/What happens if an elected official (a sitting U.S. Senator no less) held an event and ten people showed up?
I dont know, but I suppose you could ask Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson.
U.S. Sen. Ron Johnsons first visit to the Viterbo University campus provided students with an introductory course on conservative politics.
The Wisconsin Republican spoke to a gathering of about 10 Viterbo students Thursday afternoon.

...when it comes to his role as a legislator, Johnson said his true passion is freedom.
Thats the big struggle isnt it? he told the students. The Founding Fathers understood governing, Johnson said, being some of the most learned men of the time. They understood the nature of man, he said that man needed government to promote peace and stability, but also that government should be limited to protect mans freedoms.
That wisdom was lost around the same time as the Great Depression, Johnson added, with the government taking away freedoms, racking up debt and encroaching on all aspects of American life. Those poor choices will have lasting impacts on the students futures and the nations economic growth, and it is up to students like the group in front of him, he said, to be informed in order to change things back.
