or vote for walker so he gets the majority, that tells me the state obviously likes his warped view of things.

Why should someone have to tell someone to get out to vote?

I am sorry, but people deserve exactly what get, and I know those who vote against him don't deserve it, but that isn't how the game is played

....The poll interviewed 1,409 registered voters, including 1,164 likely voters, by landline and cell phone Oct. 23-26. For the full sample of 1,409 registered voters, the margin of error is +/- 2.7 percentage points. The margin of error for the sample of 1,164 likely voters is +/- 3.0 percentage points. This is the final Marquette Law School Poll before the Nov. 4 election.

which automatically leaves out those who are fairly new. If you didn't vote in 2010, or, if you missed voting in the primary, you probably wouldn't be considered a likely voter.

Former Waukesha County Clerk Kathy Nickolaus has been appointed to a three-year term as the clerk-treasurer for the Town of Waukesha, the Freeman reports.

The town had two clerk-treasurers resign in close succession. The Town Board met in closed session Thursday night to appoint Nickolaus, according to the Freeman.

The secretive Town of Waukesha can still perform a few tricks...It has a history of quite a few closed door (not open to the public) meetings.

Absentee ballots that are postmarked by election day can be counted if they arrive at the clerk's office by Friday following the election. And voters who cast a provisional ballot have until 4 pm on Friday to submit necessary information to the clerk and have the ballot counted (this would be driver's license/ID number for registration form or proof of residence for first-time voter who registers by mail).

He is an accomplished liar and it is in our nature as WI citizens to take people at their word. We're doomed as a state. I'll do what I can but I'm on a horrible streak in the state since Russ lost.

I found this message in my e-mail. I wonder why TMJ 4 didn't report it this way too?

Friends,

I just got off the phone with Maggie -- the final Marquette poll was released just minutes ago, and she told me that we're virtually tied with Scott Walker, 45-46 among registered voters.

I told her I had to get a message out to you right away. With only SIX DAYS until the election, this poll means only one thing: We can't let up, not even for a second.

We have six more days to finish what we started. Six more days to knock on every door and call every voter. Six more days to finally DEFEAT Scott Walker. If we don't make the most of these last six days, we will not win this race.
