Scott Walker Promises to Take on 'Union Bosses' As President

Walker is telling his lies again. It is sad--and scary to know he will be coming back to WI like a wounded animal.

Scott Walker Promises to Take on 'Union Bosses' As President

by Shaquille Brewster

Scott Walker Could Be Busy on 'Day One' in the White House 0:43

Seeking to re-energize a campaign that's been sagging in national polls, GOP presidential candidate Scott Walker promised on Thursday "to take power out of the hands of the big government union bosses."

"On Day One, I'm going to stop the government from taking money, money out of the paychecks of federal employees for political union dues," Walker said in remarks at Eureka College, Ronald Reagan's alma mater, on Thursday. " I don't think any worker in this country should be required to put money into a political fund that doesn't support candidates that they don't support."

Speaking with reverence for the former president, at the place where Reagan gave his first political speech, Walker tried to strike a tone of optimism and urgency. He said he wants his campaign to be one about solutions, promising to release a new "Day One" reform weekly.

"That's why people are upset with Washington. That's why I'm upset with Washington!," Walker said pointing to his chest and elevating his tone, "They need to share our sense of urgency."

Walker also recounted the fights he had with Democrats and labor unions in Washington, describing the fight over his collective bargaining bill, his recall election, and being targeted in his re-election campaign.

"They went after me with death threats and we didn't back down." Walker said with his wife in the audience. "They went after my family with threats, Tonnette and our children, but we didn't back down!"

They will not go anywhere this cycle but as we near 2020, 4yrs to "catapult the propaganda" in the echo chamber, the anti-union push will reach new levels in this next election cycle.

Yup. Schoolteachers threatening to kill you. Kill your kids and wife. "Gut her like a deer."

Problem is, he has zero evidence of any of this. He also claims his car was surrounded and rocked by protesters in La Crosse. Never happened. Scott Walker likes making stuff up, whether it's job numbers, threats, state surplus, whatever suits him. Thankfully few are buying it.

Almost time to say goodbye to your fifteen minutes Scott. Turn out the light when you leave, won't you?

...he will be frustrated, bitter, and looking for a dog to kick. I fully expect him to unleash a shitstorm even worse than what we've already endured. Or maybe he'll just pull a Palin, and quit (to "make some real money" in the private sector, like he claims Tonette wants)--dumping the whole steaming pile in Gov. Becky's lap. In any event, Fasten your seat belts, Badgers--it's going to be a bumpy ride!

I just don't think Scott Walker gives a damn one way or another about Wisconsin.

brownback, n. -- the unfortunate result of too much santorum all over, but especially in Kansas and Wisconsin

brownback, v. -- In 2016, Walker-Santorum promises to brownback the whole country like Wisconsin and Kansas

& Scuba Your description is soo funny!

Really, this is what the Kochs with their billions pay for. Too disgusting!

I try to foster a little hope each day that someday this nightmare will be over.

It will not always be like this in Wisconsin. There has been much damage but we're still Badgers.
