(3,283 posts)Walker is still governor and the Senate and Assembly are solidly in repub hands. They are free to do what they want.

(70,182 posts)I actually wish he had stayed in and this happened--of only to shout it from the rooftops. Oh well, it is all water under the bridge now.

(2,958 posts)Walker is the GOP leader (28%), ahead of Trump (20%). So still a likely winner, but not with the plurality(?)
Doesn't matter now, but I was seriously considering voting in the Republican primary to "wreak havoc" and placing an X to next to his closest challenger. Just to show him up.

(18,964 posts)All of the Assembly is up for re-election in 2016....and a goodly portion of the Senate (1/2???)
I know those guys are feeling pretty safe in their gerrymandered districts right now, but they have to be careful not to be too arrogant so that only the complete yahoooos in their party are the only ones that will vote for them.
Interesting photo on facebook the other day....especially in light of this polling data...
Walker was doing his "victory/welcome home" tour in front of the joint Republican Assembly and Senate Caucus...our local Assemblyman proudly posted a picture with him and Walker with the arms around each other.....he may regret that picture come November of 2016 if Walker and "the boys" (Voss, Fitzgerald, Tiffany et. al.) run rampant over the next 12 month....
