It was revealed yesterday that, as a law student, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley made some of the most vicious and hateful comments about the LGBT community I’ve ever heard.

I'm not going to repeat them. That's how bad they were. But I will tell you this: Hate speech has no place in our state’s highest court. It raises serious questions about Justice Bradley’s fitness to serve.

It’s equally troubling that Governor Walker appointed her to three judgeships in the past three years.

Wisconsinites deserve better. Join me in telling Justice Bradley that hate speech has no place on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.

I believe the justices who preside over Wisconsin’s Supreme Court should have impeccable credentials, a high moral aptitude, and a record of integrity.

We elect these justices to 10-year terms. We’ve seen their decisions affect our labor laws, voting rights, and civil liberties. Rebecca Bradley is up for election in three weeks.

Wisconsinites need to be confident that justices on the bench can be impartial and fair, and Justice Bradley’s statements do not inspire such confidence.

We have every right to question whether Justice Bradley can uphold the principle that all Americans are created equal under the law. Add your name to denounce her hateful, intolerant statements.
