The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will offer a two-week study abroad program in Cuba beginning in January 2013.

The program will offer students an opportunity to learn about the island’s history, politics, economy and society, according to a press release from the University.

“The Cuban Revolution” has spots for 25 UW System students, who must apply before the May 15 deadline. UW students will receive first consideration, but students from other colleges and universities can apply.

Students interested in applying can call the International Programs office at 715-346-2717 or visit www.uwsp.edu/studyabroad.
