WI attorney general sues over lame duck law.

https://www.channel3000.com/wisconsin-attorney-general-suing-over-gop-lame-duck-law/

“ The lawsuit Monday is from Attorney General Josh Kaul, together with Democratic Gov. Tony Evers. It targets parts of the law requiring the state Department of Justice that Kaul runs to get approval from the Legislature’s budget committee before settling certain lawsuits.”

2. Hoping courts will see the obstruction

Many federal courts have ruled against obstructions in our history.
Humans rights, racial, gender and religious identities have been upheld against obstructions, states have applied.

Wisconsin is not exception and we can only hope the judiciary does recognize our aversion to obstructionists.

Wisconsin's GOP, since the 1950's has followed an offensive and destructive path.

While Kohler was Gov, we had the longest union strike against his company in US History.
While Thompson was Gov, we saw Executive power consolidated which this case conflicts.
While McCallum was Gov, he abused the veto, causing unnecessary economic pain during the 2000 recession.
While Walker was Gov, he entrenched obstructionism as a conservative moral and a rule of law.

We cannot pressure courts, as we can politicians, but we can hope that Atty Gen Kaul can win the argument for
true equalization in our state's three branches of governance.
