Yep, that is what some editorial boards are asking.

MIDDLETON Gov. Scott Walker told Wisconsin newspaper editors and publishers Thursday that he enjoys being mentioned as a potential Republican candidate for president in 2016 because that means he's not doing a "crappy" job as governor.
Walker was asked whether he intends to run for president following his speech at the annual Wisconsin Newspaper Association/Association Press convention. His stop at the meeting came in the middle of a two-day swing Walker was making to newspaper editorial boards across the state as he pitched his two-year budget plan unveiled last week.
Walker laughed at the question about his interest in the presidency, noting that he had been asked the same thing at earlier stops at two different newspaper editorial boards. But he also didn't answer it directly.
"I spent a whole lot of time and effort in the past two years running for governor, I think I ought to spend my time focused on that for a while," Walker said.

(813 posts)I certainly hope we can give him that extra two years from 2014-2016 to focus exclusively on a presidential run without the pesky need to be governor...

(4,015 posts)Walker should probably check with the owners of this country. I'm sure they like him, but I think they have different people in mind (one of their own - the guy they wanted in 2000 for the first place).

(1,485 posts)that his type of republican bullshit sells OK here-but not for the rest of the union. I hope, I feel we are getting beyond his bullshit arguments and excuses for poor economic growth. He is a teabagger, power-grabbing, hopeful has-been toady water-carrier that the nation could see through in a second. He is not slick enough for a national race.

(261 posts)Thank you, Republicans!
I'd love to see him run against Hillary, or Biden, or Cuomo, or Schumer, or Warren, or Deval Patrick, or some other Dem from anywhere in America. I would love to see the Republican Party to go down for the third time in a row as incapable of launching a Presidential candidate that can capture the minds and hearts of Americans, this next time by 10-20% LESS THAN the last one.

Once GOP co. gets their "Image" straightened out, given the correct "Messaging", Walker will look just great.
Hell, you've got to admit he looks a dam sight better than Romney.
They were, after all, able to sell the Romney tool to 47% of the voters.
Nice wrapping, a pretty bow and a 'Merry Third World Country' card written in Spanish.
Toss in some Jim Crow and yup, that should do it.
