I live here in Calgary and The Sun has long been known as the paper for this city's mouth-breathers. But when I look at these results, I can't help but think the poll is being bombed by "out-of-towners". Hell, I've done it myself, that is, I've voted on a poll put out by a paper in Kentucky or Idaho or wherever just to help skew the poll to the left.
But then I read the comments and life returns to normal. The Sun caters to the dough-heads and the dough-heads respond as expected. "The stupid! It burns!"

like fecking ostriches buring their heads in the sand who could give a crap about the environment. It's all about the money.

When he made his comment about Hiroshoma he was speaking in a metaphore which evidently went over their heads but which, I believe, aptly applied. The land is being destroyed in an equally devastating manner and the impact on the native population as well as the health of this planet is being totally ignored.
