Let's get ready for the new government.

We need to press them on turning things around, right from the start. Lil' JT wouldn't be the first Liberal PM to promise the moon and disappoint, and as our noisy neighbours have shown us over the past few years, when a populist candidate starts walking back on his promises once his butt's in the big chair, things quickly turn ugly.

I expect no difference now. My expectations are low however with Trudeau's voting along side the Conservatives numerous times regarding trade, and civil liberties, and of course Ontario Libs burying scandals and privatizing public property. Get ready for P3 scams and scandals, and bending over backwards to international corporations.

I was the NDP scrutineer at one of the polls, and 5 self-identified "usually vote NDP" voters told me after the count that they were regretting their decision to strategically vote liberal. They were disappointed at the prospect of a Liberal majority. I just shook my head and said it was unfortunate. But I kinda wanted to punch them.

Looks like a lot of people decided to go with the White Simms instead of Blue Simms this time. (Moon Over Parador, in case anyone is wondering.)
