‘Nude’ Stephen Harper painting causes a stir (EYE BLEACH WARNING)

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/nude-stephen-harper-painting-causes-a-stir/article2437175/

"“Emperor Haute Couture” shows the prime minister reclining on a chaise lounge wearing nothing but a subtle smile. He is surrounded by people in suits, whose faces can’t be seen. A dog rests at his feet as a woman in business attire offers him a Tim Hortons cup on a silver platter"

OK you have been warned (at least this version is censored)

Personally I think it'd look great on billboards around election time, with quotes about transparency, and not recognizing Canada in 5 years, etc.

The outrage would go in an entirely different direction, I suspect.

I realize the purpose is mockery, but I don't know if this is the most effective way to do that.

I suppose this is the new form of "outrage". Just like Mayor Ford when he was presented as nude in a newspaper, it is done in bad taste and ultimately it is not very constructive. Freedom of expression? I suppose, but these rules are certainly only applicable to some and not others, wouldn't you agree?

To each their own. It may even raise a few giggles, but such paintings aren't going to improve our economy.

It would be more realistic if that were a cat, since Stephen Harper is a cat person.
