Oh God, it might have been true ... Osborne representing us abroad? At least Hague came across as intelligent ...

But then again:

A new foreign secretary will be appointed by the prime minister when he completes his reshuffle on Tuesday. It is understood that it will not be George Osborne, who had been tipped to take the job after the election.

Hammond has risen without trace, as far as I'm concerned. Iain Duncan Smith to Defence, they say - at least he was a soldier. better there than messing around with benefits.

as obviously he didn't want to move jobs, so he's now staying where he is, and Fallon got Defence.

For global sexual violence. So Angelina Jolie will still get to meet with him. But now Hammond gets promoted. And the MOD will get a terrible replacement.
