General Election 2015: Tories sack candidate who said she would never support 'the Jew' Ed Miliband

The Conservatives have suspended one of their council candidates after she said she could never support “the Jew” Ed Miliband.

Gulzabeen Afsar, the Tory candidate for the ward of Littleover on Derby City Council, posted on Facebook:

“Just can’t take Mr Ed Miliband seriously!! [David Cameron] has what it takes to be the future PM."

After someone questioned her suggestion she replied: “Nah bro! never ever will I drop that low and support the al yahud lol.”

“Al Yahud” is the Arabic word for “Jew”.

-snip-

Mr Miliband’s father, Ralph Miliband, and mother Marion Kozak, both fled the holocaust during the Second World War.

Glad she was sacked.

But I think that xenophobic and sometimes anti-Semitic attitudes do feature into some of the personal hostility that many right-wingers have toward Ed Miliband; though on the whole those standing for office have the sense not to say it in so many words.

One survey showed that 50% of UKIP supporters would never vote for a Jew. (Of course, even more such people probably wouldn't vote for someone with a name like Afsar. Pity when minority group members eat each other, instead of uniting to fight the racists and xenophobes who are against us all.)

I've actually seen posts that said Ed wasn't English(since he is Jewish). Sickening.

'Sen made the comments in an interview with the far-right South African website the European Knights Project (EKP) published on 12 April. He said on Friday that he stood by them.'

Why the fuck was he giving an interview with a far-right South African website in the first place!?
