I thought he's going to make the UK a more peaeful place

Instead, Hilary Benn says they will stick to the nuclear deterrent and NATO. Shame!

First you complained that you expected them to be ultra-radical and seek to get out of NATO, etc.; now you're complaining because they're not.

It's an outdated institution and the Cold War is over.

Why not evolve a new defensive arrangement in which all the members are equal and in which negotiation is given as much of a chance as nukes?

Why act as if nothing has changed at all since 1991?
