(54,770 posts)NASCAR event, confederate statute rally, or something, that takes ignorant white wingers mind off electing the next Lester Maddox. Whatever, the GOPer bigots and their hateful supporters will make it an ugly election. Abrams will stand tall.
Georgia still has to go through a run off between two GOPers willing to run a racist/bigoted campaign. Will be interesting to see how Abrams responds to that chitshow.

(13,461 posts)And after Gov Bevin screwing teachers over on their pensions, teachers are expected to show up at the polls in a big way to vote for the state legislature. KY 6th isnt blood red and has had D Congressmen in the past. By November universities will be back in session too, and there are several in the 6th district, I hope McGraths campaign finds a way to get out some student votes.

(24,560 posts)weren't in charge of the voting machines and counts. My sister and I voted today and both of us had votes disappear forcing us to go back and do them again. I don't trust these old Diebold machines.
