The 2020 Democratic Nominee for the US Senate from CO should be a female because CO has not had one.

High profiled Democratic women elected officials from CO- current and former.
Diana DeGette-D current US Rep CO-1cd since 1997.
Betsy Markey-D former US Rep CO-4cd from 2009-2011. lost re-election in 2010 to Cory Gardner-R.
Cary Kennedy-D former CO Treasurer from 2007-2011. lost re-election in 2010 to Walker Stapleton-R.
Jena Griswold-D incoming CO Secretary of State. unseated a Republican incumbent Wayne Williams-R in 2018
Crisanta Duran-D outgoing CO state House Speaker and state Rep. 2011-2019.

1. I like Dianna DeGette, but not sure she wants to seek statewide office.
