Federal Election Commission shutdown

Of the 300 employees, none are working to answer the calls or emails of potential election violations due to the shutdown. The committee are the only ones available, yet are powerless to enact without their support.

Rampant hacks could occur from foreign powers to again influence our democracy. Violations from candidates that do not play by the rules would be overlooked. We need our government back!

time to don my tin hat -

What if this shutdown is being done for that reason, to enable Russia, SA and/or Israel to take a deep dive at the voter data and even hacking into it, possibly changing it? That with stopping the prosecution of so many legal cases against orange assmouth would certainly be sufficient for him to want to keep the government shut down. Remember everything is always about him, he only invokes the base when needed to cover up what he wanted to do anyway, like with racism and now the shutdown.

You maybe correct. Frankly, I believe he trying to do what he can to survive; this week, Congress will hear new information on what trump's lawyer has been doing for his mob boss Donald.
