Not receiving some e-mails.

My sister has not received e-mails from me for the last two months. There are other e-mails from friends and family that she hasn't gotten, but she does get them from my brother and niece. She also receives her weekly grocery store email and other mass emails.

She has Windows 7, Live Mail, and Roadrunner. She has a Lenovo Computer. The missing emails are not in Junk or on the Roadrunner site. I, nor anyone else receive an "undeliverable" message. It's as if they never existed. However, I DO receive emails from her.

Any thoughts on why she suddenly is not getting some emails that she has received from people in the past? The computer is about 2 years old, but has only been hooked up since August. By the way, we are both fairly computer illiterate.

Is 'Junk' where they put email they think is spam or is there another 'spam' folder? n/t PoliticAverse Apr 2014 #1
Junk is where the spam goes. No other folder. n/t NCarolinawoman Apr 2014 #2

With my permission, my sister will explain what she did:

Someone had the same problem last year on the Roadrunner site. I went to settings at webmail on the Time Warner website. Then I went to "allow or block messages". In the box labeled what to block, were a ton of weirdo named senders with domain names I've never heard of. However, included in the list was aol.com, gmail.com, and outlook.com. That fell into the pattern I was seeing of who I was not receiving emails from. I deleted those three from the list and pressed ok. (This was important because when I didn't press ok the first couple of times, the three domains would appear back on the list). So far this has worked.
The question that remains is why those three suddenly appeared in that box that I didn't even know existed on the Roadrunner site.
