You do have to "accept cookies from sites" in the privacy settings for Firefox but you can say "never" to accepting third-party cookies. You should then be able to use the bookmark to go directly to your email each time.

To create a bookmark, after you've logged in to your email account, right click and select "Bookmark this Page" and you'll get a dialog box that allows you to select where you want the bookmark placed. Alternatively you should be able to drag the very small icon to the left of the Yahoo URL to your desktop or to one of the toolbars like the Bookmarks Toolbar if you have it visible.

If you're already logged in to Yahoo, it should take you straight to your mailbox. If you're not logged in, it should take you to a log in page that will redirect you to your mailbox after you sign in.
