Not sure what the successor model number is, but it will run you $400 - $500. I think it is this one --

I've used one for years and copied tons of records for work. Software works well too.


I also have a smaller one that is very portable that will handle 15 or so pages which is in the $250 range. The one above it small enough to carry too.

I've also used wand scanners when I just need a page or two out of bound medical records, or an occasional page or two. They work pretty good once you get the hang of it. They are less than $100.

Finally, I have used combination copier, fax, and scanners. Didn't really like them because the ones that could handle multiple pages were not very portable. But they are relatively cheap.
