Hi everyone, I've been out of trouble for a whille but now:

Can't seen to find out what is happening with my PC and sometimes with the laptop.
The PC:
Firefiox
XP SP3 (I know it is outdated)
.
I use the PC for simple stuff. The past 2 weeks or so, I have been getting this message:

"plug-in container.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. (No, I don't want to send MS a report.)
I have to X out to close down. Tried to Google info, no luck, Don't understand the info I could find. Most seem to refer to Firefox.

In both my PC and my laptop(win 7) my mouse freezes as I scroll. On the laptop I frequently get the "server cannot be found".
I have done all scans(AVG, malwarebytes, Spybot. Have done Scandisk and disk defrag. Other than calling the computer guru I have used, I can't figure out what to do.
Remember, I am an old timer --a computer idiot. Have no idea what to do and have limited funds to have a professional come.

Any ideas that might help would be appreciated.

That means you don't have an XP problem, you have a Firefox problem.

2nd problem:is one of your computers hardwired? sounds like a possible bandwidth problem.
