Not a computer question, but a phone one...

and this seems the best place to ask, so far.

Just upgraded my Moto G to Android 5.1 and a few things I've seen look better, except it doesn't do email.

I keep getting messages that it's either not working at all or eternally synching. I thought maybe my ID's or passwords didn't survive the upgrade, but Dropbox and some other ID's did. Google's didn't, though.

I haven't seen any way to give it my IDs, just a fleeting screen offering to delete them but nothing about how to set up new ones.

Anybody here know about this, or do I head for the labyrinth that is Google...

reset it pretty much back to blank-from-the-factory. Scary stuff resetting, but it restored pretty much everything from the backup.

Missing a couple of passwords here and there, and it took an hour or so to get everything working right. But, it works, and better than it did before.

I don't deal with movies or other such stuff on the phone (I have tablets if I ever feel so inclined) so, yeah, I'd recommend the Moto G to most people with similar needs.
