ANSWER
If you are using TurboTax Online and you were able to successfully print your return this would indicate that you already paid the filing fees and elected to file by mail. If you need to make changes to you paper filing please log back into your account and you should have the option to continue your return. If not please do the following. Once you change the filing status to efile, you should then be able to make changes to the return and follow the below steps once again to change back paper file.
In TurboTax Online, sign into your account and click Continue your Return,
then select the File tab.
If you've gone through all of the steps on the <your name>, just one more step and we'll file your returns screen, click the Prepare to send button.
On the Here are your filing choices screen (it shows File by Mail as your previous choice), click the I'd like to change filing methods line.
On the Change Filing Method popup, check the returns you wish to E-file and click Save.
The Here are your filing choices screen now shows E-file.

last year's return) or an IRS PIN number for your federal return, the
interviews will assist you.
You can still view or print your return on the Let's review you information screen by clicking the View or print your return button.
